As the fourth generation of Runnels Outfitter - Guide Service we are more excited than ever. This season promises to be the best yet! The herds on and near the ranches we hunt have consistently produced great game. The focus of our business is to provide quality hunts for all game animals. Runnels Outfitters operates primarily around Ruidoso and Capitan, New Mexico in and around the Lincoln National Forest bordering the Mescalero Apache Reservation. This area produces some of the biggest game taken anywhere in the country each year. We take our hunting very seriously, whether it be bow, rifle or muzzle loader... but we also like to have a good time and enjoy the outdoors. Our goal is to send you home after a successful hunt with great memories and trophy game.

YES!!! We do combination hunts. We can combine elk and antelope, elk and bear, deer and bear, and sometimes deer and lion.

Elk licenses are obtained through the draw or lottery system. However, even if you are unsuccessful drawing a license, we can still go hunting because we have landowner permits. And we can handle most of the paper work for you. Just let us know when you can be here...We'll do the rest!
